Joaquín Madrid Marín got a degree in Audiovisual Communication at the CEU-SanPablo (University Study Centre) in the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) in 1999.
He currently teaches at the School of Arts Murcia (Murcia-Spain), while developinghis personal work in audiovisual and photography.
He has exhibited some of his short films at festivals such as Much More May (Cartagena, Spain), Festival of short films at the Civic Center Puertas de Castilla(Murcia, Spain) or the Festival Zootropio (Oporto).
As a photographer has participated in collective exhibitions and has won the followingprizes: First prize in the IV PHOTO CONTEST "OBJECTIVE MURCIA", 2002, thirdprize at the III PHOTO CONTEST "OBJECTIVE MURCIA", 2001, first prize at the FIRST PHOTO CONTEST "FIELD oF MURCIA", 2000, third Prize at the IV BeniajánPHOTO MARATHON 2000, second prize at the III Beniaján PHOTO MARATHON1999, second prize in the IV SOCIAL MEDIA AWARDS 1999 from the GeneralitatValenciana (Spain).

Joaquín Madrid Marín es licenciado en Comunicación Audiovisual en el CEU-San Pablo de Valencia (España) adscrito a la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
Actualmente es profesor en la Escuela de Arte de Murcia (España), al tiempo que desarrolla sus trabajos personales en la creación audiovisual y la fotografía.
Ha proyectado algunos de sus cortometrajes en festivales como Mucho Mas Mayo (Cartagena-España), Festival de cortometrajes en el Centro Municipal Puertas de Castilla (Murcia- España) o en el Festival Zootropio (Oporto).
Como fotógrafo ha participado en exposiciones colectivas y ha obtenido los siguientes premios: Primer premio en el IV CONCURSO FOTOGRÁFICO “OBJETIVO MURCIA”, 2002; tercer premio en el III CONCURSO FOTOGRÁFICO “OBJETIVO MURCIA”, 2001; primer premio en el PRIMER CONCURSO DE FOTOGRAFÍA “CAMPO DE MURCIA”, 2000; tercer Premio en el IV MARATÓN FOTOGRÁFICO BENIAJÁN 2000; segundo Premio en el III MARATÓN FOTOGRÁFICO BENIAJÁN 1999; accésit en los IV PREMIOS DE COMUNICACIÓN SOCIAL 1999 de la Generalitat Valenciana.
